Hillsdale Cemetery “A place of remembrance.”April 10th, 2020Dear Friends of Hillsdale Cemetery, Over the last year the cemetery has been well cared for. The lawn and surrounding grounds continue to be well kept, providing a beautiful place to visit, reflect and remember your departed loved ones. Once again, we would like to thank all who faithfully continue contributing yearly dues, which are the only source of funds for maintenance and improvements of the grounds. The bulk of expense is for lawn care, especially in the spring and summer season, so please contribute as soon as possible. Hillsdale is a non-endowment, community cemetery association. Plots are $500.00 and annual dues are $25.00 however we encourage and appreciate larger gifts if possible. Also, we encourage anyone who has an affiliation to the cemetery to give such as friends or other family members. HOW CAN I HELP – “What can I do?”Beautify your loved one’s headstone – sweep, trim, clean and remove any containers or wilted flowers.
Hillsdale’s policies/ Did you know?A couple of helpful and interesting policies: Individual plots and headstones are the property and responsibility of the owner/family. Jars and glass containers may not be used for flower placement. Trees and shrubs are not to be planted on plots. Graveside services are free of charge. 2020 Memorial Day Service – Monday, May 25th at 11:30 a.m. Note: The American Legion conducts other services prior to the service at Hillsdale.
